Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Actuarial Pricing Analyst to join a dynamic forward thinking brokers in the city of London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within the business unit and quick progression. You will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine pricing models to ensure competitive and profitable pricing strategies.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends and insights that inform pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, product managers, and other stakeholders to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with group functions to ensure efficient deployment of pricing models into the underwriting platform using Python.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of pricing models, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide actuarial support for new product development and market entry strategies.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Mentor and support junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 year experience in actuarial pricing
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical modelling and data analysis.
  • Experience with actuarial software and tools such as SAS, R, Python, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

  • Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics.
  • Advanced knowledge of insurance products and market dynamics
